Just came to say thank you, I finished my final today and I'm done with Math even though I don't want to be but It's gonna get to hard from here. Don't think I do so well but that's because the final was nothing compared to the material we learned in class. But youre videos definitely helped me for my assignments n midterms! Thank you Mr.T!

Dude, you are the best, I am taking pre-calculus right now and my teacher sucks, but you are awesome. She was offended when I told her that she just gives me the lesson plan, but I learn the curriculum from you!!!!!!!!

I am definitely subscribed. I was the kind of math student who picked up concepts easily but never applied myself. Now I am going back into college for Computer Science and though I do love what I have sort of delved into on my own, the Math pre requisites are intimidating. I am having to teach myself Pre Cal before the next semester begins when I go into Calculus. You sir are doing a great job with these videos. They are precise, easy to understand, and to the point. Thank you.

Prof please help me, how if R = { (1,2), (1,3), (2,3), (2,4), (3,1), (3,4) } is it Transitive or not ? i'm not sure about my answer because it has the variable which has transitive function such as (1,2), (2,3) = (1,3) E R but it has (1,3), (3,1) then (1,1) and its not in the R ? please help me! big thanks

Yes. Km/L. Like in physics, mathmatics, astronomy, and all other sciences done by anyone in any country in the world except Myanmar, Libia and US. We need to change this asap…

Pls do more videos.. I wish there are more profs like you.. I am a new secondary mathematics teacher and one of the challenges (which is essential to our profession) is how to make students understand mathematical concepts.. I am having a hard time explaining it to them and I consulted a lot of textbooks which just intimidated my students.. Your approach is simple and fantastic.. More powers Prof.Robrob!

Life is so weird, when I was in high school I was a "top student", however I kinda hated math but I was friend with my math teacher, the day that I graduated I told him as a joke-not-really-a-joke "yeah! no more math in my life" and he laughed. Now, five years later, karma has really hit me and here I am, starting a Precalculus marathon because I'll start physics as a career next year! Better watch what you say, people, because karma is always there 😀 thank you for posting these videos Prof Rob! Greetings from Costa Rica

I'm going to go to school for engineering and need to brush up on my math skills before I start school again. I will be using your vids for a long time! Thank you 🙂

I just wanted to say Thank you I really liked the video before I started this video I was really struggling with functions and relations, but you really helped me a lot and I think I will pass my Quiz And will be listening to more of your videos.Thanks.

I am a student of psychology, specifically political psychology involving sensation and perception, and you wouldn't believe how great your teaching is! My goodness!

I am the last person to ask about math. It is not anything I'm "great" at. I also have dyscalculia.

This video and many others, have inspired me to draw up models pertaining to the depth of social perception in general. I just need to thank you, and I wish you could understand the breadth of my gratitude.

Subbed & thumbs upped! I wish you well and please, carry on with this gift of yours.

thank god for this channel, my pre-cal teacher barely speaks english and can hardly write to make matters worst and somehow that qualifies him to teach a complex subject…

hello, please help me.. i'm lost at 21:00minwhy do you put a plus-minus sign in front of even roots? You say when one square himself one have to ,but don't know why.ok ,If you don't, the x Inside an even root or odd root will have only one y (like for exemple 3) through it isn't clear at all

Let the studying and practice begin. Precalc final on Wed. I have a lot of material to cover, but thanks to you and your videos Mr. Tarrou, I find it so much easier to grasp and understand the material. I just need to repeatedly do my assignments for it all to stick. I don't have a great short term memory.

Right now I'm coursing the third semester of civil engineering. These videos are really helpful for me while reviiting some of the previous topics we had in Algebra, so thank you so much and keep up the fantastic world you are doing!

hello，I am in shanghai, I want to know which textbook you use. you have a very good handwriting , I learned a lot form you, thanks for your lecture, so I also want to buy a textbook.

hello, mr Profrobbob, I am here I am here I am here, you help me a lot, and I wonder what textbook you use, and do you have some suggestions for me to practice these math, and I want a practice booklet, I want you recommend me a book for practice. thank you.

You and Professor Leonard are going to help me succeed in my dream to get my degree in CompSci!!! I used to be so bad at math throughout grade school. So I did what the stereotypical college dropout did and joined the military, not believing in the power of my brain. I got out with the GI Bill and decided to go back to school. I stumbled upon you and Professor Leonard, and you two have made love math for the first time in my life. Math is beautiful and fun now! Thank you for all you do and you have earned a new sub!!!

so if we understand all the stuff on the precalc playlist we should be pretty solid going into calc? i just started this, hopefully ill be done by the end of june or july

So I bought this course on Udemy https://www.udemy.com/precalculus-/ which is pretty good, but Udemy is really lacking on good math content. If you were to make classes on Udemy I would definitely buy them all and share them in my discord math groups.

Thanks for your great videos. The word "relation" is used for two objects and is confusing. A function is a subset of relation. But a relation that is not a function is also called a relation. Why isn't there a separate word for "relation that is not a function"?

Now I am a senior graduating this semester with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems. I started off college 5 years ago in a brand new language for me since I am from a non-English speaking country. It was very hard for me to follow through in class and I remember I made a grade of C in ALL the 4 classes I took my very first semester. I am so glad I found this channel when I had to take Calculus! I went from making a C in Pre-Calculus to passing Calculus I with an A+ ! All thanks to your videos as you are so fun, clear, engaging and most importantly, I could re-watch if I did not understand something you had said (language barrier here again). I just recommended your channel to a friend who is also starting college. Not sure if you will read this, but THANK YOU!!!! This is such an amazing work you did with this channel!

I'm Mexican, and I didn't find enought information in spanish for funtions and relations. It made me freak me out, but I found this video and you don't know how this video helped me to understand the topic. Thanks. <3

Best teacher ever.. Omg… Math has never been so much fun

Wow, what a find. I'm taking an accelerated Pre-Calculus course in the summer and thought I'd get a head start. Thanks Professor.

This guy is up there with Khanacademy and Crash Course.

Thank you so much! I'm finally able to understand functions and relations!Love your explanations.Definitely subscribing.

It is awesome! You are great!

My idol of the year Goes to PROF ROB! More Power to you Master!!

I've never seen a mathematician with such great writing 🙂

can you tell me what textbook u r using?

Thanks for clearing this up

Wow this guy is great. Ive got precalculus starting in 2 weeks and Im about to blow through these videos to get ready.

Nice handwriting prof! Thanks for this video, I now understand functions and relations. 😀

These videos saved my life! Thank You!

Planning to go on Physics in college, this is VERY helpful

I love Math

Do you have a video for finding a row echelon and reduced row echelon form of a system of equations? (matrices- precalculus) 🙂 ?

@profRobBob I'm not so smart so I really need some help. how would I use the vertical test to show y=square root of x using the domain x:0<x<9

* * * *

Thank you so much 🙂

how do you know if the y= equation you end up with is solvable if you don't know your parent functions

thank you .but I want more example abuot function

Is it just me or does this guy look like Mr. Bean? lol

What textbook(s) do you use to teach your class this semester (winter-spring 2017)? Was just curious so I could follow along.

Thank you for helping me in my calculus class.

Your handwriting is beautiful

Your handwriting is soo freaking beautiful. It could literally be a font on Microsoft Word

I love your charisma and flawless explanations, teacher. Regards from Chile!

This might be a dumb question, but at the end why didnt u do +/- sqq(8+4x)

thank god for this channel, my pre-cal teacher barely speaks english and can hardly write to make matters worst and somehow that qualifies him to teach a complex subject…

His shirt is funny as hell. I was totally drifting off at his lesson. LMAO.

I am.not a student of 5 grade that u r teaching cartesian plane to us

Would a negative in front of the square not be a function ?

Just trying not to let my mind wonder, as your tshirt says.

I’m so glad you’ve made all of these. Favorite math teacher, hands down.

Is this precalculus series in any specific order? I don't know if I should watch it in order or not to understand everything.

You meant kilometers per liter*

So I bought this course on Udemy https://www.udemy.com/precalculus-/ which is pretty good, but Udemy is really lacking on good math content. If you were to make classes on Udemy I would definitely buy them all and share them in my discord math groups.

In India we learn like – if the +ve or -ve sign is not explicitly written before the root then it will defaults to both +ve and -ve.
